Deep in the City

Recently, I had a wonderful opportunity to meet with a group of brothers and sisters in another part of town. What made this trip most interesting (I say “trip” because going anywhere in our city is a trip) was that we were in a part of town where so few fellowships exist. I was very much encouraged by the time that I spent there encouraging them, sharing with them and eating a meal together.

When someone says that to me, it is difficult to refuse, because I enjoy hearing a good story. In fact, everyone seems to enjoy stories. In our country, one form of art is called Henna. It uses a type of temporary ink that is drawn onto the skin. It lasts about two weeks.
